How a price discussion works with our clinic

Our service begins with a conversation about you, not a travel package. You can contact a patient advisor in English, French or Arabic, explain what you would like to discuss, and ask what information the clinical team needs for an assessment. Tell us whether your priority is the hairline, another thinning area, or understanding whether surgery is an option at all.

The next useful step is to connect the proposed clinical work with a written scope. Ask us which parts can be discussed remotely and which need an in-person examination. Keep medical suitability separate from your travel budget: an attractive hotel deal cannot determine whether a procedure is appropriate.

Before agreeing to a date, request the proposed clinical schedule and the current fee inclusions. We do not publish an unverified starting price here, and photographs in our archive are not quotations for somebody else's treatment.

The useful question is not simply “How much is a hair transplant in Turkey?” It is “What treatment is being proposed for me, and what does the quoted amount include?”

A headline price can help you start researching. It cannot tell you whether the proposed work matches your needs. Before comparing offers, ask for the clinical plan and the service scope in writing. Separate the treatment fee from the cost of travelling to Istanbul.

What changes the cost of a hair transplant?

The extent of hair loss, the procedure proposed and the clinical team can affect the price. Those factors also explain why a figure from another patient's treatment is not automatically a useful estimate for you. The NHS identifies these as relevant cost considerations; its published UK figures should not be treated as Turkish clinic prices. NHS: hair transplant.

Ask the clinic to explain the area being considered, the aim of the proposed treatment and any limits to the initial estimate. If a graft estimate is supplied, clarify whether it is provisional and how it will be confirmed during the examination. A quote should explain the proposal, not just present a larger number as a better offer.

Use a short checklist when reviewing written quotes:

  • What assessment is required before treatment can be confirmed?
  • Which procedure and treatment area does the fee cover?
  • Are tests, prescribed medicines, dressings or aftercare items included, charged separately or not required?
  • Which follow-up appointments are covered, and where do they take place?
  • What happens if the examination changes the plan or surgery is not recommended?
  • What are the currency, payment schedule and cancellation terms?

These are questions to resolve with the provider, not a list of inclusions every clinic offers. Keep a copy of the answers so you can compare the final scope rather than rely on a conversation remembered later.

Budget for the visit separately

At SERDEN's Istanbul clinic, care is appointment-based. Flights, accommodation and airport transfers are arranged independently by the patient. Do not read a clinical quote as an all-inclusive travel package. Ask the advisor to confirm the proposed appointment schedule before making non-refundable bookings.

Your personal budget can have three headings: the confirmed clinical fee, independently arranged travel, and a contingency for changes. An extra hotel night or a flexible ticket may alter the trip budget without changing the treatment fee.

Why isn't there one fixed price here?

A published figure would need a clear, current scope to be meaningful. This guide does not substitute an unverified market average for an individual quotation. Request a written proposal and compare it with the same checklist used for every other offer.

Is the cheapest quote necessarily the best value?

Price alone does not establish who is responsible for treatment or what support is available afterwards. Resolve those questions before deciding whether an offer meets your needs.

Are hotel and transfers included?

Not in SERDEN's clinic-only service. Patients make those arrangements independently. Read packages versus clinic-only treatment for the distinction.

This is general planning information, not an individual treatment recommendation or a price promise.

Questions we can answer clearly

Before you take the next step.

Can you quote from somebody else’s before-and-after result?

No. Use a case photograph to explain your goals, then ask for an assessment of your own circumstances. The photograph does not give us the complete clinical information needed for your plan.

Does the number of grafts tell me everything about value?

No. Ask what the proposed number means, which area it covers, who is responsible for treatment and what support is included. Do not compare two totals without comparing the work behind them.

What should I receive before making a decision?

Request the clinical proposal, written fee and exclusions, appointment arrangements, payment and cancellation terms, and an explanation of follow-up responsibilities.

Can I talk about the quote without making an international phone call?

Yes. Write on WhatsApp or request a WhatsApp voice conversation with a patient advisor. State your preferred language and ask the team to clarify the quote in writing afterwards.
